Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
-
What can I expect during a consultation?
Consultations are thorough and structured. I take detailed medical and surgical history, perform physical and anthropometric analysis, and discuss surgical goals. When appropriate, I use rhinoplasty simulations and photographic analysis to align expectations. Patient safety, education, and realistic outcomes guide every step.
Science-based aesthetics.

What is your Ethos when it comes to Plastic surgery?
My philosophy is to enhance natural features rather than create an overdone appearance. I aim for balance, proportion, and harmony so that results look refined but never obvious. Subtlety is key, as the best surgery is often the one that doesn’t announce itself.
If it doesn’t work or you do not need it, I will refuse to do it.
-
How do you approach patient education?
I believe patients should clearly understand their options. I provide honest, straightforward explanations without exaggeration or promises of perfection. I never expect anyone to decide on the spot; instead, I give detailed information sheets and post-operative instructions to review at home.
The best decisions are made with clarity, confidence, and true informed consent.
-
Do you recommend surgery to everyone who asks?
No. Surgery should be done for the right reasons, at the right time, and for the right patient. If I believe that surgery will not provide a meaningful benefit, or if expectations are not aligned with what is possible, I advise against it.
My job is to protect patients from false marketing claims and social media trends.
-
How do you define success in Plastic surgery?
Success is not measured by how dramatic a change looks in photos, but by how naturally it fits the patient’s face or body, and by how confident they feel in their daily lives. The best results are those that respect individuality and stand the test of time.
If the patient likes how they look, that’s enough for me.
-
How do you build trust with patients?
Trust is at the center of every patient relationship. I believe trust is earned through honesty, transparency about what surgery can and cannot achieve consistency, and results that align with what was discussed.
Nothing is more meaningful than when a patient chooses to return, continuity and long-term trust matter more than sheer numbers.
-
Do you believe every concern requires surgery?
Not at all. In many cases, reassurance, observation, or small non-surgical measures are more appropriate. I only recommend surgery when it can safely provide a meaningful improvement that aligns with a patient’s goals.
Sometimes, not doing anything is the best therapeutic option.
-
How do you balance art and science in plastic surgery?
I rely on precise mathematical measurements (ratios, angles, proportions), anatomical analysis, and evidence-based techniques to guide my work. At the same time, judgment and a sense of proportion and art are essential.
Good surgery respects both the measurable aspects of anatomy and the individuality of each patient.
-
What do you enjoy outside of surgery?
Outside of my practice, I enjoy training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Skiing, SCUBA diving, Sailing, Cooking and working on sustainable farming projects.
These interests help me maintain balance and and bring a fresh perspective to my work.
